Josef Maurer is the Head of Maritime and Operations at the the European Transport Workers’ Federation. During his 10 years at the ETF, he was also in charge of aviation, company policy, equalities and the region of Central and Eastern Europe. Before joining the ETF, he spent 15 years in a front-line position in the airline industry. He holds a degree in International Relations and European Studies from the Metropolitan University in Prague.
