Piotr Gorzeński is the President of the Management Board of the Port of Gdynia Authority S.A., appointed on April 9, 2024 for the 9th term of office.

He graduated from the Faculty of Navigation at the Maritime University in Gdynia. He also completed international studies at Copenhagen Business School, Universiteit Antwerpen, and FHTW Berlin, and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Gdańsk.

He began his professional career in the maritime industry, gaining extensive experience in maritime logistics and management while working for global companies such as British Petroleum Shipping, Maersk Line, and Texaco.

From 2008 to 2009 he served as Vice President for Logistics at Orlen Transport S.A. Between 2009 and 2015 he was Executive Director for Logistics at PKN ORLEN S.A., where he was responsible for managing logistics processes, leading teams, improving operational efficiency in road and rail transport logistics, and implementing system and IT processes.

In subsequent years, he worked as an advisor in the field of organization and management of production logistics. In 2021–2022 he served as Director for Strategy and Development, responsible for preparing the concept for rebuilding liner shipping operations at Polish Ocean Lines S.A.

He has extensive experience in restructuring processes, team leadership, infrastructure project implementation, and building operational structures from the ground up.
