Managing Director, Member of the Board of Gdynia Container Terminal sp. z o.o. has several years of experience in the areas of management, finance and improvement of organizational efficiency. He has been associated with the port industry and the GCT terminal since 2010.
Gdynia Container Terminal S.A. (Hutchinson Ports Gdynia) is part of Hutchison Ports – the world’s leading port network spanning 52 ports and terminals in 26 countries.
Before joining Hutchison Ports, Jan Jarmakowski worked in various managerial positions, among others at Atos Origin and PricewaterhouseCoopers, supervised IT systems implementation projects in Poland and in 25 countries of the CEE region, managed a shared IT center and large project teams.
Jan Jarmakowski is a graduate of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Gdańsk, Economics and Organization of Maritime Transport, is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. He is also a Member of the Board of Port of Gdynia User Group and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Pomeranian Region Branch of Polish Chamber of Maritime Commerce.
