Dr. Daniel Beck is a Data Scientist and AI Strategy lead within the HHLA Group, focused on bringing advanced AI into port logistics and end to end supply chain processes. He develops Generative AI and agentic workflows that enable a digital workforce to support operational and administrative processes across maritime logistics. With a strong informatics and data science background, Daniel designs and implements production grade AI systems from data to deployment. His technical expertise spans Data Lakehouse architectures, MLOps, Azure based AI platforms, workflow integration and automation with n8n, and secure AI services including open source models for sensitive and KRITIS aligned environments. Having worked across international environments and globally distributed operations, he brings a pragmatic perspective on scaling data products, standardizing processes, and translating machine learning into measurable impact such as process automation, predictive analytics, and decision support for logistics operations.
