Defining climate responsibility – scope of the ports’ role as facilitators of change within the logistic ecosystem they create: possible influence on companies operating within and outside of the port area
Tommaso Spanevello is responsible for European Affairs at HAROPA PORT, the major river-sea port authority of the Seine axis, merging the three French ports of Le Havre, Rouen and Paris. He promotes the interests of the HAROPA PORT vis-à-vis the European Union’s Institutions and represents the port authority in various European networks such as the European Sea Ports Organisation (ESPO) and the European Federation of Inland Ports (EFIP).
Prior to join HAROPA PORT, Tommaso worked during about ten years in the rail sector representing, first, the interests of infrastructure managers and, subsequently, those of manufacturing companies. He is a lawyer by formation and lived and worked in United States, Belgium, Italy, Finland and Hungary.
